DIY: Homemade Spray Deodorant

Did you know?

Many commercial deodorants and antiperspirants contain the metal Aluminum, generally aluminum chlorohydrate. This toxic metal works by blocking sweat producing pores. What do you think happens to those toxins if you do not sweat them out?… Yep, they stay in your body causing more harm along with your body absorbing the aluminium. Aluminum toxicity has been linked to cancer, breast cancer (women you have been warned!), Alzheimer’s, and several other health issues. Aluminum also changes how the body deals with estrogen, it may interfere with the body’s natural way to properly process estrogen. Commercial deodorants also contain parabens, which can be absorbed into the skin. These imitate estrogen and over time can accumulate significantly.

It’s truly amazing how easy it is to make your own deodorants! There are bars, rubs, powders, and sprays you can make. Today I want to share a spray deodorant recipe that’s simple and easy to tailor to your own scents.

Liquid Deodorant:

– 1/2 cup witch hazel

– 1/4 cup aloe vera

– Essential oils to desired scent: lavender is a favorite of mine 🙂

Now you can alter this recipe and add ingredients like Apple Cider Vinegar (won’t need much, prolly about 1/2oz). ACV kills bacteria that causes odors.

The N8ked Rose Recipe:

I’ve tailored one for myself, that seems to be working quite well through out the day. For purchase please click here. This version has a few additional ingredients with my special blend of essential oils… it smells delicious! 2oz for $4.50, 4oz for $8, Access to recipe $4.95
